Prase rough PRR113 red jasper Museum quality specimenPRR 113. Dimensions at widest points approximately 125 mm x 85 mm x 60 mm thick. Weighs 917 grams. Prase is a chrome rich chert. The green colour usually derives from minor mineral content, most commonly the green chromiferous muscovite mica, fuchsite. There are numerous Prase deposits in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
