Hubert de Boüard de Laforest joined the family business at Angélus in 1976 and proceeded to make several modernizing changes to the vinification that allows him more control over the quality
The name "Angelus" means the ringing of bells to commemorate a catholic devotion
The 2013 Angelus St Emilion 750 ml is from the St-Emilion region of Bordeaux
is still considered "new" for that appellation
