Kenneth Steel (1906-1970), Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin towel shorter tool designed for childrenKenneth Steel R. B. A. was a British artist best known for detailed landscapes and street scenes. Much of his work was used by British Railways, and indeed many of the iconic railway posters of the early to mid twentieth century use his artwork. Steel spent a summer in Ireland in 1937, and held a one person exhibition the next year in the Victor Waddington Gallery on Dublin's South Anne Street.
